Needle-Free Anesthetic Gel Lidocaine and prilocaine periodontal gel 2.5%/2.5%
Oraqix® is indicated for adults who require localized anesthesia during scaling and/or root planning. It is a subgingival locally applied anesthetic gel consisting of a eutectic mixture of lidocaine and prilocaine in a new themosetting system. Oraqix dispenses as a liquid, then sets as a gel in the periodontal pocket.
The Unique Oraqix Dispenser is indicated for the administration of Oraqix. The easy loading dispenser provides efficient gel delivery into the periodontal pocket. The Oraqix dispenser can be sterilized with steam autoclave.
Fast - 30 second onset provides 20 minutes of anesthesia

Patient Friendly - Needle-Free application avoids patient concerns about needles and injections
Typically 1 cartridge or less of Oraqix will be sufficient for one quadrant
Oraqix is applied first to the gingival margin, then to the periodontal pocket with use of an Oraqix Dispenser and a blunt tipped applicator
Can be re-applied as needed, up to a maximum dose of 5 cartridges.
Considerations for use of Oraqix are the same that would be considered prior to using injectible lidocaine or prilocaine
