A broken file i sone of the worst things that can happen during an endodontic treatment. The Nickel Titanium SmartTrack filing System have been given a heat treatment after fabrication, optimizing the characteristics of Nickel Titanium
This heat treatment ensures that Nickel and Titanium become a more homogeneous mass, reducing the risk of breakage. An internal cyclic fatigue test has demonstrated that the risk of breakage is 100% lower in SmartTrack than in other filing systems without heat treatment
NiTi filing systems with memory
SmartTrack combines the benefits of Nickel Titanium with the flexibility required during treatments. Nickel Titanium is the most solid material for rotating filing systems. Nevertheless, the memory material does increase the risk of ledging and transporation of the root canal. The SmartTrack filing system follow the course of the root canal without springing back.
